What we collect, why, and what happens to it. Kept short and plain on purpose.
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This page explains what information The Balance King collects through this website, why we collect it, and what happens to it. We have kept it short and plain on purpose.
The short version
We do not run ads. We do not run analytics. We do not set tracking cookies. What we collect is what you type into one of our contact forms and choose to send us, plus a few technical details your browser sends along with it. The next section lists all of it. There is nothing beyond that list.
What we collect
If you fill out a form on this site, we receive what you enter. On the contact form, that is:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company or organization, if you enter one
- The type of project, budget range, and timeline you select
- Your message
The shorter form on the Services page collects your name, email address, and message.
Along with your entry, our system records the date and time you sent it, which page you sent it from, and your browser's user-agent string. A user-agent string is a short line of text your browser sends to every site it visits. It names your browser and operating system. It does not name you.
We do not store your IP address. Our form system scrambles it first, using a one-way process that cannot be reversed, and keeps only the scrambled result. That scrambled value exists for one reason: to stop bots and spammers from flooding the form. We cannot turn it back into your IP address, and we do not use it to identify or track you.
We do not collect anything from you if you only browse. Reading the site, playing the audio, and clicking around leaves nothing on our side.
What we do not do
- No analytics. There is no analytics tool running on this site.
- No cookies from us. The site does not set cookies and does not save anything to your browser's local storage.
- No tracking pixels or ad trackers. There are none anywhere on this site.
- No outside fonts, and no third-party code of our own. The site uses fonts already on your device and loads no scripts from another company's server. Third-party content appears in embedded video players on the Memory is a Game page and embedded Apple Music players on the Score A Score page.
- No selling or renting your information. We do not, and we do not share it for marketing.
- No mailing list sign-up. Sending us a form does not add you to any list.
Where your form goes
Form submissions are sent to a private database we run on Supabase, a hosting service we use for this purpose. That database is locked down: nothing on the public internet can read from it, and only our own secured intake endpoint can write to it. The information lands there so we can read it and reply.
Emailing us instead
The contact page also offers buttons that open a pre-filled message in Gmail, Outlook, or your device's mail app. Nothing is sent until you send it, and nothing passes through us. If you click the Gmail or Outlook button, you are going to those companies' websites, and their own privacy terms apply once you are there.
Videos on Memory is a Game and music on Score A Score
Our Memory is a Game page embeds video players from Vimeo and YouTube so you can watch the reels without leaving the site. Those players are run by Vimeo and YouTube, not by us. When that page loads, those companies may set their own cookies and collect their own data about you, under their own privacy policies. We have no control over and no access to what they collect.
The Score A Score page also embeds Apple Music players, which are run by Apple and may set their own cookies or collect data under Apple's privacy policy. Every page other than Memory is a Game and Score A Score is free of third-party embeds.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the network request your browser makes in order to deliver the page to you, and it may keep its own operational records of that. That is Cloudflare's process, under Cloudflare's own privacy terms, not something we set up or receive.
Links to other sites
We link out to social profiles and other websites. Once you follow a link off this site, this policy no longer applies. Each site has its own.
Security
A few things we do on purpose:
- Your browser is told never to guess at file types, which blocks a common attack.
- The site is not permitted to request your camera, microphone, or location — the browser blocks it outright, sitewide.
- Background data connections from these pages are restricted to two places: this site itself, and the service that receives our contact form. That restriction covers background connections specifically — it is not a blanket lock on everything a page can load.
No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can say is that we collect very little, so there is very little to lose.
Your choices
You can use this site without sending us anything. If you have already sent us a message and want it deleted, email us and we will delete it.
To ask what we have, to have it corrected, or to have it removed, write to us at the address below.
Children
This site is aimed at business and professional visitors. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we start doing something new — adding analytics, for example — we will update this page and change the date at the top before we turn it on.
